Disclaimer

I am not a doctor, or a nurse, or have ever attended medical school.  I have a strong desire to live healthy, feel great, and find cost effective, natural ways to do it.  The health recommendations I may include in my blog are based on what I have found that worked for me, my friends, or my family members.  I claim no responsibility for the recommendations and opinions in the comments by my readers.  Everyone is different, so your individual results may vary.  Follow my recommendations at your own risk.  The opinions I have stated in this blog are based on my personal experiences, what I have read, or seen via other forms of media.  Many are based on recommendations by a variety of other trained medical professionals, or experts in various fields of alternative medicine from around the world.  Some of my statements, I admit may be controversial.  Consult your physician about their opinion on these topics.  Even starting the conversation will let your doctor know that you are interested in alternative, natural, and cost effective medical approaches to your health.  Don't be afraid to ask questions, even if it something they may not know too much about or have never heard of before.  Don't be afraid to get second, or even third opinions, regarding your health.  If you peak your doctor's curiosity enough for him or her to look into the subjects further, they may also learn something new that they can pass on to help others.  An honest doctor will admit they don't know everything, either, but they may be hesitant to make any specific recommendations due to fear of malpractice suits.  In today's lawsuit happy society, I don't blame them for their concerns.  Just because a doctor doesn't know about a certain approach, it doesn't mean that there are not other health options out there that are also effective.  They may simply not be aware of them.
